First Grade Art

The children spent time looking closely at a gourd and made scientific observations of the size, shape, color, and any markings on it.  Then with the eyes of a scientist, they began to create an art piece.  First they sketched the gourd with pencil and then added color using a variety of mediums such as craypas and colored
pencils.
